Soro's panicks

Discussion in 'Politics' started by jem, Dec 29, 2016.

  1. If you guys were to apply the same standards of scrutiny and criticism to your Right Wing heroes, your heads would explode. But where you can't connect inconvenient dots staring you in the face, you have no difficulty fabricating new ones out of thin air when it suits your purpose.

    Pathetic. And delusional.

what the heck are you talking about... Fredie?

The establishment right is owned by the cronies also. Dems and the Establishment right are working together stealing our freedom and destroying our standard of living every day.
The left does not deliver single payer the right does not deliver low taxes and low spending. Both sides deliver the worst of the left and the right.

We get the worst of the right and the worst of the left because of Soros and Steyer types on the left and the Kochs and friends on the right.

There have been no heros for the people of the USA in a long time.

  3. The Right would not let the left "deliver" single payer.

So, what, then? Anarchy? Destroy the structures and start anew? With the Ego in Chief, who doesn't even know what he doesn't know? Perhaps you should visit Syria for a preview of the benefits of razing institutions to the ground.

As for the rest of it, I repeat: Your idols would not withstand the kind of scrutiny to which you subject Soros, especially with the brand exaggeration and fabrication that you gents so ably bring to bear.

First of all there were about 70 democrats holding out for single payer. Obama pelosi and reid forced or bribed them to change their vote. Obamacare was passed without a single republican vote. It could have been single payer or anything your team wished. They chose to screw the people for cronies.

The opposite of large crony run big federal govt is smaller federal govt and better local govt. That is not anarchy its good responsive govt.

I have no idols in govt. Cruz and Paul looked like the best choices to me...but they crumbled.

But all this is a side show to the point. Soros writes of open societies with govt responsive to the needs of the people. When I suggest that it what I am in favor of...
you take the other side and support big non responsive govt... just like soros.

    Soros says...
"I distinguished between two kinds of political regimes: those in which people elected their leaders, who were then supposed to look after the interests of the electorate, and others where the rulers sought to manipulate their subjects to serve the rulers’ interests. Under Popper’s influence, I called the first kind of society open, the second, closed."
    ---
Read the words "manipulate their subjects to serve the rulers’ interests."

So here is the test. Are you in favor of mass immigration even though some of the immigrants are terrorists? whose will is this serving the crony rulers or the subjects?

Do you support soros as he pays for groups which attempt to manipulate the citizens of the U.S.

Do you support politicians who favor open borders and receive money from Cronies like Soros.

If you answered yes to the above you support closed societies per Soro's own words.

I would add Soros and those who support manipulating societies to support Soros' interests are evil bastards.

those first few comments are odd.

For instance had they created single payer instead of obamacare... we might still have a democrat controlled congress. Obamacare cost them their seats because rates went up and care went down for so many people.

The democrats could have drafted Obamacare to be single payer or whatever they wished. They passed it without any Republican votes. They did not have single payer because they sold out to the cronies. (the insurance lobby.)

Oddly had Obama Pelosi and Reid gone with single payer instead of insurance company care... Clinton might be presiding over a democrat congress, Roberts might be a respected supreme court justice and the Clinton might be appointing leftist swing votes to the court.

Obamacare may have saved the nation.

How many Republicans voted for Obamacare?
    A:
    QUICK ANSWER
The Affordable Care Act, deemed "Obamacare" by some, received no Republican votes in either the Senate or the House of Representatives. In the Senate, the bill was passed with a total of 60 votes, or 58 Democratic Party votes and 2 Independent Party votes. The House passed the legislation with 219 Democratic votes, notes Forbes.

  8. Are you sure you read them? In any event, it will be interesting to see what kind of new-and-improved health insurance Trump will offer you.

I noticed you did not answer the question regarding whether you support a society which manipulates its citizens to serve the interests of the cronies.
