  1. I've got a small position on in AUDUSD. Doesn't look like much on the daily, but any timeframe below that it is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Not sure if that means anything.

will probably add some more tonight

it's the only bright spot I have on at the moment

  9. no kidding, if you came from ES like I did, it doesn't take long to realize an ES stop and a forex stop are not even the same animal.

But once you realize it, you also realize why so many get screwed in ES.

Not because of stops, but because of size.

Getting back to opie's post, there are some things a small trader can do with size in forex that you have to be pretty big to do in ES, and that makes catching a trend a lot more possible, and like I said, in forex, something is always trending on some time frame.

  10. ............................................

    SPZ2
    started dec 1982
we rode the " bucking bronco " daily.

ES today can move, but it is fat / bloated 90% of the time.
    way too much traffic

the old spooze traded like forex today.

opening spread on the 1987 october meltdown was even / even.
    500.00
full point spread on the bid / ask for that entire trading day.

    now that was real trading.
    balls to the wall.

the skid on the stop was so big, you had tire tracks right up the back of your shirt some days......:)
