A reader of the thread alerted me to a problem with the script. If you your start/end times in your time template match up exactly with the start/end time specified in 'Edit Studies', then the script will not draw anything. Here is an updated file with the fix: http://share.esignal.com/download.jsp?groupid=2&folder=&file=fibMarker.efs On a side note, make sure you're putting in JUST the hour or JUST the minute in the 'Edit Studies' dialog. Ie: startHour: 9 startMinute: 30 endHour: 16 endMinute: 15 instead of: "9:30", "16:15" or what have you.
I have just released that the image drawing functions I was using the EFS is not available until the eSignal 7.1 (current beta users will be able to see it). I've made a new version that will add another study pane. It doesn't look as nice but it will work for eSignal 7.02 and lower: Download fibMarker702: http://share.esignal.com/download.jsp?groupid=2&folder=&file=fibMarker702.efs This is a snapshot of its output: http://share.esignal.com/groupcontents.jsp?folder=&picture=fibMarker702.png&groupid=2
Quah, Great thread. Thnx for sharing the system! The small amount of backtesting I've done (2 weeks) with 1 min Momentum indicator also shows a very impressive success rate. The one thing I find problematic is that there seems to be insufficient time between the first two trading times to all the 1st trade to resolve itself. Just looking at the last week or so there have been a couple of occasions where the 9.33 trade hasn't concluded by the time 9.35 rolls around. But I guess if the 9.35 signal is in the same direction you could simply add a contract, and if it's a reverse signal simply flip the trade at the new opening price.
