Some Things Never Change--McCain Defends Hillary Aide

Discussion in 'Politics' started by AAAintheBeltway, Jul 19, 2012.

  1. The GOP has been tone deaf for quite some time, but not for the reasons you think. I still hate they did not have the fortitude to go with Santorum so the nation bury that right wing idiocy once and for all.

Mittens is not that much different than Obama. That is the one thing Rush has been correct about this calendar year. That cat is really becoming a conspiracy nut. :(

  2. AAA is smarter than that. He is just playing to the base here at ET.

Fundamentally, I am not sure if McCain has any core political values. He has betrayed so many ideals. (except maybe spending more treasure on war.)

The press loves sellouts. If you like sellouts, McCain is you guy. It would not matter which party he was part of.

Its funny because I get to make this same point every few months - and AAA says it more eloquently.

  4. You throw around a lot of insults but don't address Bachmann's point. How is it that a woman whose parents and siblings are unrepentant Brotherhood members and supporters could get the sort of security clearance to be part of the Secretary of State's inner circle?

All Bachmann asked for was an explanation. Perhaps there is one, just like there may be a valid explanation for today's article about how TSA allowed an illegal alien to run a flight school and have a large number of illegal aliens taking pilot's training. I mean, what could go wrong?

My point on obamacare was far simpler than you are trying to make it. It takes money from medicare to apply to such goals as insuring illegal aliens and other uninsured. The people getting screwed tend to vote republican, the ones getting the freebies tend to vote democrat. That seems to be the common theme for most of Obama's programs.

  6. First of all, her father is dead and unlikely to be active in anything.
And her mother and sister, who said they are members of the brotherhood? Bachmann didn't. You did!

Abedin was born and raised in the United States. She should be judged on her own merits and actions. Not only McCain is speaking in her defense, but Boehner too.

Bachmann's letters are just a transparent effort to unjustly tarnish the reputation of an administration official and create a contemporary red scare in the hope of remaining relevant to right wing fringe groups.

If Bachmann has solid pertinent information of Islamic penetration into the Federal Government, she has not presented it. Innuendo and smear is not acceptable evidence.

I guess McCain and Beohner are laughing it up with Justice Roberts for stabbing true Americans like you in the back. It''s a conspiracy, AAA! Man the ramparts; Don't shoot until you are sure you can't see the whites of their skin.

    Add:
    Ed Rollins (her campaign chairman)
    Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.)
    Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.)
    Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)

  8. So your basic point is that we can now dispense with FBI background checks? Because if this woman didn't raise red flags, no one possibly could.

I'm not surprised the RHINOs lined up to denounce Bachmann. It's a surefire way to get favorable coverage in the liberal media. Obviously none of them bothered to read the letters, which raised detailed questions about specific muslin extremists who were made part of official US government panels, etc. Others have noted that by doing this, the government marginalizes more moderate and friendly muslims and enhances the stature of Brrotherhood fronts.

That sounds like something that a member of the Intelligence Committee has a right to ask about.

As for this Hillary aide, there are no allegations of disloyalty, merely questions about her vetting. What if she was denied a clearance and Hillary intervened? Wouldn't that be relevant?

Of course the medi awould like us to forget all the clinton scandals, going back to Arkansas. Her judgment on this kind of thing is not beyond reproach, considering all the sleaze in her and Bill's background, including the Marc Rich pardon, chinese campaign money and various Dubai deals.

  10. It was you who started the John Roberts is a coward thread wasn't it?

Anyone who disagrees with your worldview is a sellout now? Including the majority whip?

This conspiracy is getting pretty large for you it would appear.
