  4. i'm not complaining about futures. i would still trade futures even if there wasn't PDT. i'm complaining about PDT even though it doesn't affect me because it's a f***** up concept. it isn't right, it shouldn't exist in america, and it should be done away with. and after they get rid of it, they should fire the SEC morons that OKed it and send them to jail for a bit to send the message that this sh!t will not be tolerated in america!!!!! (i know i'm being a little crazy...it's probably not even possible to send SEC people to jail for this; i wish it was.)

  5. Especially if those discussions between IB and the SEC involve the government's blessing of the BOX.

  6. What do you mean it shouldn't be tolerated in america? America tolerates all the crooked schemes generated by those who control this government. Like the 9 trillion dollars stolen from the stock market. Like the pathetic fines imposed upon Merrill Lynch et. al. Like the blatant lies that got us into Iraq.

I swear to god, I would have thought that by now millions of outraged americans would be demonstrating in the capital. But they are not and that is the obvious reason why the crooks are still in control and the rest of us are all potential cannon fodder. (This week I heard some background noised about Bush reinstating the draft).

(This week I heard some background noised about Bush reinstating the draft).

I haven't heard that. Yet. I wonder if that came from Bush people or those opposed to his agenda? I remember a rumor about the draft after the Gulf War in 1991, and the first thing GB I parroted was that we have an "all volunteer army".

I'll stop short of calling GB II a war monger... but with his military agenda and in the modern political climate, it would be shear stupidity to reinstate the draft.

  8. They mentioned it several times on CNN, sort of in passing. Where it came from I don't know.

  9. I don't think its any more messed up then the thousands of investors who jumped into the market and daytrading in the 90's under their own free will....but then sued the crap out of all the firms because they lost their money....Blame the lawyers not the SEC..
