Since last year, that's actually better than average. Our methods have been rendered obsolete, and the lack of mutual fund buying & 'dumb money' has made the market far less predictable over the past year & a half. If I'm not mistaken, last year equity mutual fund inflows were ONE TENTH of what they were in 2000. this makes the intraday & overnight patterns far less predictable. Lean times.
