Hi Everyone, I am a newbie to US stock markets. Following are some questions I am concerned with:

    1. What does it mean by "Post-Offering Amount" and "Offering Amount"

    2. Typically, how soon a stock would start to trade after filing with SEC and how should I do to avoid missing the first trading day of that company.

    3. What are the major difference between IPO in NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange, I mean, in terms of volitility, opening premium and etc.?

    4. Would an IPO with 250 million be considered as big, small or typical IPO?

Thank you in advance. Any comments are appreciated.

PS: It is also posted in STOCKS, if not appropriate, please delete that one. Thanks.
