Hi, I'm thinking of switching to IB and have some questions regarding setting up an account: 1) Can US dollar denominated funds in a Canadian brokerage account be transferred through ATON (Canadian version of ACATS)? (on your website it says it is only available for Canadian stock/cash. Does that preclude US dollar funds or is it still ok since it's held at a Canadian institution?) 2) Can I set up an Individual Account at IB and then change that into an Institution Account a few months down the line? Or would I have to set up a new separate account at that point and transfer the funds? Thanks you in advance.
