Ok, I have some pretty standard questions - but I still seem to have problems answering these despite surfing the forums. Any insight from folks with experience would be greatly appreciated. 1) Is there a big difference in broker performance when switching from a demo account to a live account. I have been doing well in demo-mode and wnat to go live but am a bit worried about what many people write about sharky brokers. 2) Is trading ECN much safer? I was thinking of opening an account with BT Trading. Do they, as brokers, have less to gain by manipulating the numbers? Are there any downsides besider their unintuitive platform? 3) Should there be any difficulty in depositing and cashing in from a BT account? For your info - I trade relatively short term from 10 minutes to 2 days. Big jumps in price to trigger stops would be a problem. Ps: I notice much feistyness in these forums.
