Which he outlined as his one short-coming... Fortunately Steve had a very strong understanding of technology and marketing.... which propelled him to huge success despite his autocratic style. There are many CEO wandering around the tech center who have expertise in nothing except playing golf with the "right people". Of course, these clowns wander around sinking company after company.
Let's not forget there have been good female CEOs, Meg Whitman for example. If you're so convinced Yahoo is screwed, sell the stock why don't you.
yahoo is made up of people who are not innovative and don't like to change. I think it'd take hella motivator to move such an organization. probably, google and microsoft already got all the 800 lbs brains out there.
Nothing to be jealous of. Job of the CEO is hell and worst that of a high profile company. Pay is good and perks too but you got to watch out for every breath that you take. ps: no evenings or saturdays either.
This, like so many threads around here, leaves me awestruck by its stupidity. There's always the pearls, but it does seem like the swine keep multiplying away....
the average chick out there gets lost EVEN WITH GPS. there's something about logic and women that don't go hand in hand. If a female driver misses her exit and needs to U-turn but if U-turns are prohibited, she will drive for 10 miles until the next U-turn, when all she needed to do was make 3 rights and a left. any job that requires logic and analysis should be left to men.
