  1. i've pretty much only had a pain problem in my wrist a few times. sometimes i'll twist my wrist by accident holding a lot of weight and it will be painful for a week or so. i would say rest the area that hurts for 2 weeks (maybe more?), then give it a shot....if that doesn't help...maybe see a doctor?!?

  2. I was afraid you'd say that....the problem for me is that I've always been a Basketball player and started lifting ( seriously) about 8-10 months ago...before that i'd lift for a month, then take a month off....Now that Im addicted I can't stop....I also have Insatiable appetite...By 11:00 am I can eat a whole chicken....If i don;t run and lift for two days i swear I put on ten Lbs...Ive never been a big eater before but now Im an eating machine....If I take two weeks off I'd balloon to 235.

  3. i know what you mean when you say you don't want to stop..i'm the same way.

if you do rest the area, you can still do legs or whatever else.... you don't need to stop completely.

if you knew how to calculate your calories correctly, you woudn't get fat taking a week or so off. also, you could do some more cardio if you're worried. to gain 10 pounds of fat in 2 weeks, you'd need to over eat by 2,500 calories a day. hehe.. i doubt you'll get that out of shape, even not counting calories....

  7. This thread rocks. Nothing goes with trading like the iron game.

I just got back from the gym. There was a chick there I have never seen before. Blond, gorgeous and totally ripped. You could friggin count the muscle fibers on her hams. She must be a track athlete, maybe 400 meters or hurdles.

Unfortunately she left before I could explain my BMW loaner program to her!!!!!!

  9. i think i know what you mean. quite possibly this is due to chronic tendinosis of your forearm extensors where they attach into the "elbow".

usually from an acute or chronic tearing of extensor muscle fibers from movements that require extension at wrist, eg reverse curls, upright rowing, lateral raises etc)

do strict reverse curls thru FULL range reproduce the pain? (if you decide to try it use light weight to avoid further injury!)

    :-/
