no. I don't like the rep/wt scheme, nor the emphasis on going to failure. as I said, it may work for others.
What is the best program for losing a lot of weight that combines weight training, exercise, and proper diet? Is the Body-for-Life program any good?
I workout every morning using machines,,,,but SoloFlex Sucks Go to Sport's Authority and for about 3-400.00 you can get a Weider System that has bench, FLy, Legs and pull downs.....do that for 6-8 weeks and if you decide you want to take the next step join a gym and you can sell the station for at least 200.00 When you are coming back from injury you are better off doing it at home so you don;t push yourself to match the guys at the Gym...I have a Universal system at home that's unbelievable and I use it at nights to get a quick workout in if I feel i cheated in the gym in the am....Hell, i'd sell it to you for 200.00 if you would disassemble it
I AM ROCK SOLID! if you don't have access to machines like MedX, Cybex, Nautlius, Hammer... then the simple BARBELL & BENCH is your best bet. (dumbells too) don't buy expensive inefficient junk. I AM ROCK SOLID! :-/
The problem with the barbell is you cannot get a max. workout with them unless you have a second person to spot you...and BEFORE you commit 1000's to a system, ....make sure you are goging to use it...same goes for joiing a gym...and BTW...I started on those systmes and i have graduated on to bigger and better and can now press 275lbs....not bad for a once skinny basketballplayer
