Solar Stock Depression - what happened??

  1. Through out this entire episode of solar I have yet to see one house in my neighborhood, or for that matter any neighborhood, in America with solar panels. I see them on calculators and telephones on the side of the freeway thats it. Where is the infrastructure?

Oil has very little to do with electric prices. Solar is used for distributed generation, not gasoline.

Go ahead and call your utility then ask them to lower your rates to years ago when oil was around this level. Good luck.

Solar demand is experiencing a big slowdown in growth because its primary growth driver, Europe, is tapped out due to the credit crisis.

  6. If you think all the oil reserves can last forever. Think again.
