You may need to go back to the function and 'verify' the new setting by clicking the button of the same name. Functions which require verification should be titled in red. - Spydertrader
Spyder, I tried that but it didn't work for me. An "Edit/Entry" box came up when I checked the 'verify' button, which I couldn't 'enter' because I (nor anybody else except yourself, Mikeytrader, ...) don't have the password to permit entry. Hence the suggested protocol for Neoxx, as best I remember it. I have a fully functional STR-SQU indicator now. lj
Thanks babs200 and palinuro for the updates to Pepe's tools, very nice work. I have made some adjustments to Pepe's Bar Formations for ending lateral formations and lateral movements. The lateral formations now require a close outside to end rather than a higher high/lower low. Both types of lateral now draw the formation up to the BO bar instead of ending the bar previous. I know very little about code, so I commented the original logic and left it in the file. For lateral move I changed only two lines, 171 and 176. For lateral formation the original codes starts at line 228 with my changes following.
This should import without problems, just say no to overwrite charthelper if other versions are installed. Name changed from PP_BarFormations to PP_BarForms. If there is a problem with the import, just unzip then copy/paste the PP_BarForms to the indicator directory and manually compile.
Thanks lj and Spyder. Looked as though it was already verified... <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2199229> I followed the suggestion to reload the PVfiles, but it still doesn't seem to work, at least in Replay. I've yet to try it in realtime. Could it be due to the fact that I'm using the Standard subscription option? <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2199235>
A call to Tech Support on Monday should set everything straight. Since you've reloaded the PVfiles, double check to ensure the correct contracts remains inside the STR-SQU Function. - Spydertrader
Hello, does someone maybe have a working version of PP JHVolume for NT? I am runnung 6.5.1000.6 and all of PP's indicators work for me exept the Volume indicator (it does not draw the gaussians). THANKS
I'm using Pepe's version in his 5/21/08 : It works fine (including Gaussians turned on) in my NT version 6.5.1000.7. I will attach a snagit shot of my indicators setup for PP_JHMVolume. Make sure the "DrawGaussians" is set to "True". (Note, I set the pace lines colors to "Transparent" in mine so I could use the AutoPace indicator without cluttering up the volume window.)
