I don't know about AMP - I have a different data feed. So these conditions are different, FWIW. Since I do not subscribe to Level II, I get nothing on my DOM; however, I do get Time & Sales even without L2 and without paying NT (I have a sim license).
Thanks Lost Trader. It's interesting to see the array from broker to broker (I am assuming that's where you get your feed from). IB will give you the DOM but doesn't have dynamic T&S, although I hear they are working on that. I still use DTN but they are getting spendy so I'm looking around. BTW, the add-ons that you and Pepe are cranking out for NT are simply too cool. lj
Here's new version of the fancy bar timer. Minor changes from the precvious version: The bartimer will now show up empty even if there is no market data connection. The bartimer now works with volume charts (showing percentage left). <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1907055/> The above image shows the bartimer with Position LowerLeft and TopBottomOffset set to 10.
All these tools being posted for NT has prompted me to try it out... nifty. I'm using VolumeSCT, I have a black background so the JHIndicators volume study won't work for me, and I also like the inside-bar coloring. It looks like you have a separate 'pace' indicator to display the volume pace lines, could you post this as well? Thanks
I use QCharts and don't know how to shade areas for FTPs FBPs etc. Anyone know of that capability in QCharts?
In truth, the Pace indicator is just a variant of NT's own ConstantLines indicator. I've lost track of what I've uploaded or not, so here is a complete set for Ninjatrader 6.5 -- just import and compile. Good Trading!
Don't worry too much about shading etc. Spydertrader used qcharts for most of the futures journal as did several other people. Just use any colored line for laterals/pennants (many ppl here like to use yellow for that - check some of the charts from the futures journal and you will see). Many of the charts you see posted now are automatically or semi-automatically annotated, especially laterals etc, most using NT.
tobbe Thanks for the response. I use NinjaTrader for my DOM and a feed from MB. I and am considering switching to NT for the other tools.
