I didn't see anything about cost. How much is it? It does look perfect for what we're doing.

    Thanks,

Peak Trader Pro offers different pricing based on needs. I would contact them for info on price.

    Hi all,

Does anyone have a package of Hershey method indicators for Esignal? I'm using a slightly modded version of the PRV tool posted way back in this thread, which works great, but haven't been able to find a str/squ EFS, "laterals" indicator etc.

If I can find the time I'm planning to create an Esignal version of LostTrader's volumeSCT tool, as it should be fairly straightforward to modify the PRV indicator.

  5. Thank you so much Pepe for sharing. New tools feel like driving Ferrari.

One thing however I can't seem to figure out. I noticed callmate's charts color bars with higher high as black even if they close lower than open.

I tried for hours make it work on my NT - I must be missing something.

VolumeSCT gives volume bars correct color based on higher high or lower low, but the actual color of the bars themselves must be controlled by one of the indicators in jhindicators.zip.

But which one? Any clues are appreciated.

Thanks again for posting such terrific tools.

  6. It is Pepe's pro rata volume indicator that does that. You could either use that instead of volume sct, or you could put both on your chart and position your chart so that you do not see Pepe's volume in the 3rd pane. Regardless if you want your price bars colored that way you will need pepe's volume indicator or have someone else code for it.

OR you could pm atari ( Chad ) he helped me to get the software working. :D

Have you tried using the search feature for STR/SQU? Focus on the results that come up in the Hershey related journals. I found one post that said that the STR/SQU didn't work on Esignal. That person was using one of the excel spreadsheets for the STR/SQU that people have posted. MAK posted one of the spreadsheets.

  9. For those that still use it, I updated VolumeSCT because I wanted a different message in the Volume pane. I realized from bi9foot that I liked seeing the actual % listed, as well as the graphic, so I modified the output message.

So instead of writing Prior Volume = ## now it is more cyrptic! :D
    Now it writes [V1=## : %] [V2=## : %]

V1 = prior volume and the % is the comparison of PRV to V1 (prior volumebar). Likewise, V2 = volume two bars ago and the % is comparing PRV to that V2 volume number.

I did both because in cases of inside bars, I want to compare PRV to the pennant bar, and not really to the inside bar.

I am still using NinjaTrader's DrawText tools, so the position is less than optimal. I would have preferred to break it up onto two lines. Maybe I will get better at overriding their limits or they will provide better methods in v7. We'll see. Meanwhile this works.

  10. Hi Pepe,
your JHinfo indicator doesn't work during market replay. It says Session Closed  Could you fix this, please? or share your code?

I record every market day for replay, both to test indicators as well as to practice off-hours at high speed. It is essential that the tools work in replay...

The channels do work. I had trouble figuring out how to extend the channel until I realized that p3 could not be on p3 so to speak, it had to be drawn with p3 out ion the white space to get an extension. Tends to be a problem for me because the slope of the lines will change when I am extending the channel (yes, I am clumsy). You might consider making the extension a copy just like you do the LTL, and always start it exactly at p3. That way p3 can go exactly where p3 is supposed to go... just a thought. And extending the channel would not change the slope since that is controlled by p1-p3.

BTW, the channel tool will not remember a change in the default color. I changed it, saved template+workspace, but when NT is opened the next time, it is back to DodgerBlue. There is an extra (serialization) step required when colors are the input parameter. Josh put a tip on the NT Support forum that might help.

    Thanks for the tools!
