  2. Stepan, if you and your team are so good at programming the stuf, whould you consider to add the following:

"A bar that has a two tick range and is a Doji is a "beginning of a bar." and if it is 4 to 8 seconds "old", let it mature a little as you sit on a given node."

    Here is the reference link:

    Thanks

p.s.tick range could be user defined, depending on the instrument.

Great work Stepan! Too bad I switched to Sierra about a month ago... like their degapping tool a lot because it goes back as many days as you like, just gives you a seamless chart ....is important to me for long time channels..... could never get that to work on NT (and it seems to be a memory hog on NT as well?)....

Do you guys who use IB Data:
    1. Use "native"
    or 2. "calculated"?

    which is better?

    Thanks!

Let’s disclose two hidden jokes in the Help.

    The <b>second</b> joke is <b>"Version 0.6180339887"</b>
Everybody knows that 0.6180339887 is the Fibonacci ratio.
    <i>Please smiles here.</i>

The <b>first</b> joke is "<b>Developed by Futures Ranger</b> & Co."
I heard "ranger" sometimes means "watcher" which means "observer".
<i>I have no proof of this.</i>
The modern "traders" used to be "speculators" which means "observers".
    <i>Don't ask for proof either.</i>
So according to my faulty logic above The Tools Set is <b>"Developed by Futures Trader & Co."</b>.
    <i>Please even bigger smiles.</i>

<b>"& Co."</b> means all you folks from ET and TL who’ve asked questions and those who answered them endlessly for many years.
    <i>Please applaud here.</i>

Note that I did not write "Developed by Futures <b>Software</b> & Co."
There are many great ideas flying around that make sense to implement.
    <i>Serious faces here.</i>

However, The Tools Set represents more than the minimum required to use JHM.

On a more serious note, it was developed because after switching to Ninja Trader I was not completely satisfied by what was available at the time.

    Happy Trading,

    Stepan
    :)

  8. Another idea to automate (see attached). It is a PV matrix and if someone could write the script it would be another useful tool to have around.

I found this on the TL forum. It was posted by Spyder.I think he wouldn`t mind if i post it.

The reference link is the same where i think Jack was talking about this matrix:

    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showt...rpage=6&highlight=exact science&pagenumber=39

.....When the matrices of volume PACE with repect to volatility, etc., were posted, whole bars were used to show the vertical and horizontal Gaussian distributions. This was a clear measure of the strong corrolatiion of market PACE and market volatility.

    Hi Stepan...great tools!

The only issue that still seems to remain w/NT is a really good degap tool that just creates one seamless chart without hogging all memory and without printing the bars double (the original AND the shifted one).... in Sierrachart, I have it, and can go back a month if I want, is perfect? See attached...

If you could somehow program that, that would be really great...

    best,
