nkhoi, thanks for the updated nogapchart script. Something still isn't quite right because it seems to be affected by the number of days siplayed in the chart. For example, if I change the number of days displayed from 5 to 15 or 25, the adjusted bars appear only up to a few days ago. I have the session template set to "Use instrument settings". The attached 15 min chart is for 25 days.
Thanks for the pv pack. I have noticed that with "calculate on bar close" set to False, I get occasional bars that are split red and black, as in the attached chart. If I set the same parameter to True then I get no volume bar until bar close and prv is superimposed on the previous closed bar. Any chance of getting this fixed? Thanks for sharing.
I have NT 7.0.0.23, using pvpack_nt7. A lot of split red and black volume bars generated during real time. Could someone knows code fix it, please? TIA!
NYCMB, I thought that was a neat feature to have. These split goes away when i reload or restart NT7. On a different note, I find it quite handy to tell me how much red or black a bar would have but I am not sure if the split is proportional time based or volume based. In real time, it also tells me the price movements intrabar. I only wished that it would arrange the black/red in the order following the price bar i.e. red on the top if price ended lower and vice versa but that's just a personal preference.
Hi emac, Thank you for your response. I really don't think the indicator was designed to have split colors in a single volume bar. As presented on the attached, besides Red and Black, DodgerBlue of PRV was left on the volume bar. Another proof of pvpack_nt7 flaw is NT7 built-in "BuySellVolume indicator" had different ratio of buy and sell for each volume bar than "split color volume bar" generated with pvpack_nt7. Do you also experience DOM not shows most of the time using PV_DOMES?
Has anybody been having trouble with PP_Channels? When I draw the channel, I can't get it to go past the current bar, out into the future. Is their something I am missing. I am using NT7 ver 23 Gary
