Hello everyone! I haven noticed that in the Software section of Elite Trader, most reviews are from 2010 or earlier! Technology changes quickly, how many of the reviews seem accurate for the trading platforms' performance today? Also, everyone get in there and write some new, updated reviews please!
I can write only about platforms and software packages I use or I used in the past but most of my reviews and related information to stock trading platform and stock analysis software I have on my website. I like AmiBroker as I think it is really very good chart analysis software. Price is very reasonable and it has plenty of different features for technical analysis of charts, stock screening, automated trading systems programming. I use it with Esignal real time data provider, but it can be used with plenty of different providers , some of them provide free data. From broker side I still like to use Interactive Brokers TWS and SaxoBank SaxoTrader platform.
