Hi, I hve used Telechart software and want to use a sw that will just show a few simple patterns dble bottoms symmetrical triangles pipe bottoms etc. Telechart does not provide this .What software would you folks advise (after you stop laughing at such a simple request in such an advanced site ) Also, i use Scottrade.Any help would be GREATLEY appreciated. Well....any charting software will show those simple patters. It is for you to eyeball the patterns. If you are talking about a sw program that points out the patterns, that is a very different thing. It would take some heavy duty programing and even there it is only a tool that sometimes works. Computers do not recognize patterns very well. Patterns are too discrete, too many variables. The human mind can recognize a simple pattern (is it a dog or a boy?) in an instant.
