software DayRaider 1.1 by Stuart Kidney ?

Discussion in 'Trading Software' started by singlefather, Sep 30, 2008.

  1. Gutted! That's how I'm feeling now, as Stuart has just shown his true colours, I wonder if Ron knows he's being misrepresented, might even email him. Stuart will probably bribe him to say that it was him.

Spoke to other Students who are also finding it difficult IN REAL TIME. Easy in hindsight, so that guarantee is worthless. Everything Stuart does is in hindsight, even when asked about live training/calls he jumps down their throats saying that they haven't done the homework.

  2. So the methodology does work, but students have problems mastering it?

Hm, sorry to be sarcastic, but in times where high school graduates have problems mastering basic algebra, how much does that depend on the method, and how much on the student?

Stuart so far (I did not start yet, and will not for a month - I have a crunch time ahead) has always pointed out it is hard work to get that working. I am not expaecting mastering trading to be easier than, let's say, a black belt in Karate.

So, if it DOES work, and is hard to do in real time, in how far does that invalidate the methodology?

  3. So stevesbg (some say is actually steve911, er steve46), but at least he was criticizing the shill artist/scammer/hustler Stuart Kidney (of DayRaider 1.1 fame) ... LOL, I'm obviosly being tounge-in-cheek. :p

You aren't going to get away from flim-flam hustlers like him in this business ... so long as there is money to be made, they will be creeping around somewhere in the woodworks. But at least this particular shill meister was given the hook.

Something for which we should all be grateful. :D

  4. Silly rabbit tricks are for kids. NetTecture, I am every bit the IT guy/geek that you say you are. I love your bravado that you are going to be the one that tames this wild bull. Good luck with that. I held back on the attacks on our fearless guru Stuart. Here is a little jewel you might like to hear though. Stuart had a student named Dave in No. Cal that had been with him forever. I think he did some of the programming for the "system" or something like that. Me and my buddy who started out together with Stuart were puzzled as to why this guy wasn't making bigtime cash. He basically said the software was hit and miss and that he was still trying to understand trading fully. God's honest truth is that Stuart called this guy his "track star"!!! As stevebg mentioned, whatever sins you guys have convicted him of, we are all adults and if you want to give Stuart your money I am sure he will gladly take it off your hands. I mean he has got to pay for his trips to Costa Rica, right? I will spend it if you have got some extra cash to give me too.

  5. Well, seriously - part of the problem is that any claim towards him that is negatively so far is not only unsubstantiated, and mostl given in a way to discredit the writer, but also not backed up by criminal action.

Note that the last applies to your statement, too. False statements like that (if done by Stuart) should be followed up by - guess it - legal action. The Attorney General will gladly follow up anyting you have to say, and even do a legal investigation for free, you know.

Unless you can show me where you accused Stuart of that in front of a police officer or equivalent (which, I may add, in all jurisdictions of the world has bad consequences for you if done willfully false), I have serious issues taking them seriously, especially given the statistics of trading. If he is a crook, as you say, then show me where you fullfill your obligations and bring that to the authorities.

    nkhoi

look, the guy was using multiple accnts to drum up his service (a sign of desperation in case it's not too obvious for you) but if you insist on giving him your money then go ahead.

  7. Look, so far that was not even prooven. Interesting enough I can fully understand his justification because interesting enough.... I am logged in to the internet through an encrypted VPN, too, and I also use a shared desktop for surfing at times (though mostly for downloads, as this means I can download larger items - from Microsoft, legally - to our server park and then use background folder replication to pull them wherever I am).

For me it is simple. Lots of people here claim he is a crook. NONE of them takes legal action. Ergo - there is not enough to show? You spend so much energy here, why not forumlate your claims for the authorities?

Note that no disclaimer protects him if the method is fundamentally flawed. Fraud is Fraud. If not, though....?

Can ANY of you provide substantial proof? I gladly take if in PM or direct mail then, but I will need a little more substantial than what may easily be claims of those not able to grasp something. I have been on the other end of tradin 19 years ago as IB (Introducing Broker) and I know from experience back then that even if you give prople a working system, many are simply not able to do it. And get very disgruntled about it.

  8. Nettecture

What I mean by easy is seeing the second MACD crossover at the positive or negative deviation on the Dow Cash. How many time do you think it's going to cross, only for it not to?

I think what is flawed are the Dow Behaviours as this is just a lottery. TIME is by far the most ambiguous, as Stuart covers all bases saying that if it doesn't reverse after fifteen minutes, give or take three to six minutes, then look at twenty minutes, give or take some minutes, if not then try thirty, so on and so on.

Many times a trend has developed for eighty points for one hour and then starts to reverse up and so when it next makes a double bottom thirty minutes later with positive deviation, you check that it does have dow behaviours and pull the trade. The trend will continue down for another forty points. Happens all the time and then Stuart will say the dow behaviours were not complete.

That excuse on his website is BS, just see the writing style together with (-- and ....)

  9. NetTecture, I am beginning to wonder about you. Is Stuart paying you? Let me clarify my feelings on this whole thing. If Stuart came clean and just taught the fundamentals class, I would be okay with that. It is this "system" that I honestly believe does NOT work. Mind you a broken clock is right twice a day. You are partially right though in that Stuart counts on his frustrated students just slinking off into the sunset wondering what they did wrong. I used the negative experience with him to learn more about trading and I trade now. I think we should change your screen handle to the lion tamer though. You are going to be the guy that just outworks everyone and gets his system to work (mind you I am up at 2am to trade the dax and then will go to my IT job in the morning) but you will outwork me and find a way. I wish you nothing but the best. Please keep us posted with the 500$ a day that you are making in say 2 or 3 months give or take.

  10. Like a lottery, or like a game of chances? Seriously, why do you not take it to the public places? Fraud is a crime - a serious one. Especially if one makes a living of it. Selling a defective product - as i ndefective by design - is a criminal offence.

If you can at least provide me a confirmation letter you informed the authorities... like fro mthe FBI or something... that would have a lot more weight.

Otherwise, I may kindly inform you that interfering with a business is also not seen lightly by authorities, and that acusing someone of a crime, falsely, is also not seen nicely.

Do not get me wrong here, but I start wondering why all the people having problems do not report them. Would not at least a report to the BBB be in order?
