To keep the technicul content flowing, I was surprised that SCT for Reprobates tripped short as late as it did just now. I may have to tweak it. If only I could remember what rule I invoked to overoptimize it yesterday... P.S.: times are Pacific because I like to trade in the morning to keep my afternoons free
What Jack failed to explain to the chosen ones was that channel trading is about as probable as coin tossing on a purely technical basis. Note how the 'A' team channel bandwidth is sectioned off into segments, a channel could become a 'super channel'? Fanciful to say the least. Now, when the 'A' team are buying the 'bottom' line in a bull channel, nobody ever told them that they are buying into a market that was willing to buy at lower prices,....and so the need for extra band/channel width,....you know what the 'A' team are like. Of course, they do like thier little EOD picture puzzles. Dackster.
Tara, if you are going to run with the mad dogs, you have to tell us a bit about yourself and how you trade. TMI not necessary. Thanks.
An interesting analysis, Dack. The only time I draw channels is during the midday retrace when a bear or bull flag forms. IMO that is the only time they are reliable, both for the keeping and the breaking. Also the only time I use Elliot wave.
Socrates, I don't use channels as a 'whole', i may use the bottom line in a bull phase as a visual guage/'handrail', but to be honest....i don't really think they are relevant, but that's IMO. I would certainly never rely on the upper line of a channel within a bull phase or vice versa. Dackster.
Sorry, 666, he doesn't like me. Can't understand why. Why don't YOU ask him to look at Emil Kraepelin's balanced interviews and consider it.
666, Jack truly is a first rate rotter and a cad. He's gone and dumped poor little Neon and co. Shameful. Dackster.
Here is the update on SCT for Lowlifes. I am embarrassed to post it. Best I'll say for it is that it preserved the AM gains.
Thanks, 666. Re SCT for the B-Team, it wouldn't be much of a book. I had to use three rules to make it as bad as it is. That means it is utterly untestable. But you already knew that, didn't you, hahahaha!
