Socrates Examines Technical Strategy

  1. Right now I suspect Neoxx is at:

Price is falling, but we are in VDU, and we have an FTT on this fractal, but an FBO on that fractal, and we're nowhere close to point 3 on 'tother fractal, and YM went down when it should have gone up, and the DOM is flashing so fast I can't tell shit from it! Arrrrgggggghhhh!

  2. Alright now, people don't take kindly to being mocked, you know.

You keep this up spydertrader is going to drop by and show you how he traded the absolute high and low with 40 cars and made a gazillion points. :D

  3. I honestly think Neoxx is a real person.

Whether he is for real or not remains a question. :p

  4. Who could make that up? I have the utmost sympathy for him. I was like that when I was a punk. Perfectionist. Thinking that ever more complex analysis makes for better trading. That you need a shit-hot computer to be a shit-hot trader. That trading is mind over market. Oh fuck! Maybe he's one of my kids? That I don't know about?

  5. Analysts are deeply uncertain. That's why they analyze. They need a daddy who exhibits total certainty to tell them what to do. When I graduated from analyst I became analysts' daddy. My guess is that Jack misses that role in retirement.

  6. Oh really, Neoxx is not one those types who likes to make up for his deficiencies and inibilities with 'hardware'....it's becomming a disgusting thread. Hehehe.

  7. You have time on your hands. Do a search, haha. Or just ask him if you're not on ignore. Assure him "We're here to help." Or ask Tums, he's a nice guy, despite what my bud in B.C. thinks of him.

  8. FAITES ATTENTION! To get back off track, I remind the A-Team that there is a challenge on the table to support Jack's off-hand (or off-ass) contention that one person could trade SCT with 100,00 contracts. As a reminder, I say that under present conditions you would be the entire market if you market-traded around 2000 contracts at turning points.

P.S.: Ever notice anything strange? SCT traders often defend their own brand of SCT, but they rarely defend JACK?

  9. I have no idea why I wasted my time posting on the other thread. But I was trying to get across one of my objections to SCT. That it is so sterile and analytical that it does not use plain language to describe the trajectory of the day:

"Whoa! Momo breakout of the AM range!"

"Unhunh! Requisite retrace to the BO!"

"Sneaky! Back inside the AM range!"

    "Big momo BO again!"

"What did Jack call wild rides like this!"

"Oh crap! Morning exhaustion! Now why the hell did it stop THERE?"

"Shakeout time! Get ready to draw that flag channel!"

    "Keep your Elliot count sharp!"

"Finally and at fucking last it broke the flag channel!"

  10. From you know where:

"I add the gaussian annotations after RTH to preserve the clarity of the record."

No doubt the Nobel committee will want to see the documentary evidence.

More likely a change in alias will result.
