Socrates Examines Technical Strategy

Discussion in 'Strategy Building' started by Socrates, Dec 27, 2008.

  1. Trader666, thank you for your kind invitation. I have not posted on ET seit langer seit, such an unpleasant place! But par hasard I was visiting my good friend Sockie when you invoked me. For free you get the short analysis, more will cost you an edge.

Wir haben hier a peculiar case of extreme grandiosity combined with un cas malheureux of Tourette's syndrome. The proximate cause of the outburst obviously is frustration that all of ET does not adore him, exacerbated by an inability to one up his critics. When one is down at the bottom of the well of linguistic skills, one can only shout to be heard. And curse one's own fate by cursing others.

Most difficult to understand for me. If I were as filthy rich as Jack must be, I would laugh it all off, saying "Vivre bien, c'est la meilleure vengeance!"

P.S.: In my social circle, if one feels absolutely obliged to utter oaths, one must do so eloquently in a foreign language. So I say to Jack: "Continuez, mon vieux ami, a enculer des mouches!"

  2. If you're talking to Jack Hershey, the quote should read:

"Continuez le commerce, parce que vous êtes une douche" :p

Thank you :D, thank you :D, thank you :D ... Arthur for the perfect setup.

  5. In praise of the B-Team, the attached shows that Joe Doaks' Ternary Decision Theory (bottom study) is ace-ing out SCT-Lite by holding through the midday retrace.

  6. Where are all today's posts in Technical Strategy? Surely they aren't too busy trading?

  7. Neoxx only posts his charts after the market has closed ... that way he can be sure to draw a perfect chart and not make any errors.

But hey, you already knew that, didn't you? :D

  8. Oh, no I didn't. No wonder they look so perfect.

I never do anything manually. I run stoplights on all my analyses so I don't even have to interpret. Many times I don't even chart the analysis curves.

  9. Trader666, this case is way beyond my ken. I only daytrade to assuage the boredom of listening to my snivelling patients, and I am happy to make 20 bucks a day. To address pampering issues of the unimaginably rich, I must bring in Dr. Duref Mudgins. He has been in practice longer than me.

  10. I will need the esteemed Dr. Duref Mudgins to weigh in with his opinion, but after listening to those tapes I would have to say that this sounds like an extreme case of meglomania accompanied by delusions of grandeur, with a touch of a sociopathy.

Dr Mudgins, if you would ... :p
