Socialized Medicine A Certainty ?

The real issue at hand must include the idea of money per person...and its limitations regardless of the problem title....

In this case ....the health funding title is $184,000 per person....

If this is the medical portion....then what about the other categories such as energy, etc....

Then the question becomes what is the largest number possible ?

So what is the number....$2 million ?

The other point being who should own this number ....the public or private sector ?

If the public govt. owns all of the numbers ....then the economy type is socialistic....If the non-govt owns the numbers then the economy is not socialistic....

So what are the "comfortable numbers"....ie 50% govt....50% non-govt.....and what is the "comfort" number ....ie $200,000 govt....$200,000 private ?

    ........................................................

The way this should be working is to decide what would produce a vibrant economy.....and work with what makes sense....

ie replace the tax system with a 10%C State/5% Fed C tax only.....then divide the spoils...etc....

  2. Your posts would be alot easier to read if you didn't substitute every form of punctuation with three dots. Aside from that, I enjoy reading them.

About time on free health care for all in the US.

Biggest reason for personal bankruptcy in US is related to the medical bills.

Time to spend less on F-22s and more on finding cures for cancer, aids and alzheimer type diseases.

You are hitting on the main issue.

There is a price, like it or not.

And it is not going away.

    ...................................................

But the issue at hand is that the current set of numbers are not affordable.

And first off, one has to know what the numbers are, and then the issue is allocation.
    ...................................................

So the question becomes what is the number per person that is available.

How much should this number be handicapped ?

How should this number be allocated ?
    .....................................................

    Other questions:

Under what structure will the economy produce the highest , most stable number per person ?

Does the current structure suffice, or how should it be changed in order to produce a more productive outcome ?

    ......................................................

The politicians should be challenged to come up with the best structure, and then implement it.

I think that a 10% State C , 5% Fed C tax is the structure that will blow away the numbers that the current structure produces. This means no other tax impositions.

    Good article in TIME.

"It's all about prevention. The first step towards containing health-care costs is to avoid getting sick"

"75% of our health care costs are attributable to chronic, preventable diseases. In all, about 40% of premature deaths in the U.S. are caused by lifestyle choices- smoking, poor eating and inactivity"

Doctors and big pharma don't want this...they want to treat you when you are sick and pump you with pills that have many side affects. IMO there is no other solution but for us as a nation to make one hell of a change in the way we do the above..Managing stress correctly may add years to your life....think health...walk, eat right , not too much , hydrate , manage stress....and have lots of sex...peace

People don't want it either. We smoke, eat what we want and become couch potatoes because we want to. We don't need the government telling us what to eat, when we can eat it, or any of the other crap they will force upon us with socialized medicine.

FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM - That's all we want and need from government.
