German Cars? Shame on you, you call yourself ethical? Trading a stock is one thing, but supporting other countries with your money seems more relevant to being ethical. JMO

  4. Socialist/pacifist morons by definition cannot be good traders.
Since they believe all the sh*it that happens in the world is someone else's fault, when they lose it's because markets are manipulated, the CIA is controlling their mind and making them lose or something like that.

So they are handicapped from the very start because they won't learn from their mistakes.

They think capitalism is some dumb game where a few lucky bastards get all the money, so they don't think success in trading has anything to do with putting a lot of mental effort and endurance. Another huge disadvantage.

They don't believe in individual responsibility and accountability. So they don't belong in the greatest capitalist country of all time. 70% of Americans disagree with them anyway so I think they would be happier in France, Cuba or North Korea.

Hardly the way I see it. When I was in high school and college, virtually NO ONE owned cars that were NOT made in the USA. An imported car was an MG or a Triumph. And of course, the Volkswagen (which became immensely popular...they didn't break....a total novelty).

But we found out in the early 70's or so, that for less money, you could buy a car that was actually put together by workers who cared. And for less money. Japanese cars.

So American auto makers decided to try and implement "quality controls" in their manufacturing process. So American cars would be better. More dependable. Hold tier value better.

    Still waiting.

If I can buy an equivalent product "made in the USA" to a foreign product, that is my preference.

But am I being "patriotic" by buying an American car that will fall apart and become worthless? I have 2 kids in college. When they come home, I rent cars for me and my wife. American cars.

Glad I only have them for a week or two at most.

Maybe I am more "patriotic" by NOT buying American made pieces of junk. Maybe eventually we will start producing a competitive product. So far, it seems like it's too much trouble for American manufacturers.

Used to be a lot of American made TV's. No more. Cameras? Watches? None at all anymore.

America has abandoned it's "smokestack" economy. So maybe that's the plan.

Why buy a product built with planned obsolescence? I see 10 and 15 year old Mercedes and Japanese cars on the road all the time. Not Chevys. They are all in the scrapyards.

BTW, I own INTC and HPQ in my personal (non trading) accounts.
Not doing very well. But red white and blue.

    Peace,

  6. ...UMmmmmmm.....Can anybody actually say " HEY I LOVE WAR"??
The fact that Andre is 'anti -war" is kind of like saying " I really don't like getting the stomach virus"!! No shit!....Nobody wants an actual war unless it is utterly necessary...we may all disagree on whether the current war is necessary or not, but we should all be able to agree that we would rather make money then have to go through war....I for one believe this war is necessary...we can either do it now or do it later but i believe it had to be done, however, I am still against war when ever possible and the fact that ANDRE is anti war does not make him evil or bias or a socialist.........Mondo is loosing it right before our eyes...easy there Buffalo bob

  9. It wasn't necessary, it was a choice. A decision. There were choices, Bush made one.

You have severe mental problems, obviously. Are you on medication? If so, talk to the doctor about doubling the dosage.

    RS7,
I respectfully disagree with you there. I've put over 300K miles on many GM vehicles in my business, have done a lot of driving with little or no problems. I can say from my experience durability of GM vehicles are unsurpassed. Don't get me wrong, my parents drive a BMW 745iL, awesome car. But they have also had an Audi that by 62,000 miles needed a new motor, transmission and many other problems. Most of those 62,000 miles were logged behind a tow truck.
