If you think Norway is great I guess you completely disagree with Obama on domestic drilling for oil, because their great economy is based on oil exports. So I guess you'll be voting for McCain so the oil taps can be opened... :p

  2. In rural areas it's high, in urban areas it's lower and is related to a shortage of specialists, the same shortage which affects the US.

What area of the US do you live, and I'll find out the specialist wait times.

Assuming you have insurance, that is, because if you don't the wait time is infinity. So let's assume that you can afford care at all.

Typical liberal, take something out of context and scream it out. It is expensive because it is in low demand, because public health care already drains so much from the average person. And the private health care can only be used out of country. Domestic private health care and insurance is illegal.

For someone who claims to have lived in Canada you sure didn't learn much.

That's true: originally he (and his whole gang) was against it; and then he said no way, never; and then he cursed all those who were for it; then he blamed the Republicans for being racist pigs; then he blamed Bush for everything; then he disagreed a lot with Palin and laughed at her for being inexperienced; then he said, OK domestic drilling sounds like a good idea, like winning in Iraq, I may consider it (if Michelle agrees...) :)

  7. Do you even care that your posts don't make any sense?

  8. No no, you missed some steps -- then he plotted with Ayers, then he built a temple to Satan, then drank the blood of babies, and THEN he agreed that domestic drilling was okay if done responsibly.

    :)

I tried to explain to Gord earlier that these tactics have failed to gain traction in even the reddest of states, but he wasn't able to understand.

  9. Since when is health care not free to the American poor?

John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital Mission Statement:

To provide a Comprehensive Program of Quality Health Care
with Respect and Dignity, to the residents of Cook County,
regardless of their ability to pay.

    Universal Health Insurance

Btw, we do have a universal health insurance system, the best that money can buy: every one in this country can buy health insurance to meet their needs and budget. Like we buy food, clothes, cars and houses.

What we don't have is an inefficient, wasteful health insurance entitlement that costs $trillions and is funded exclusively with "redistributed" money from one group of citizens to another.

We, Americans, don't want that one.
