  1. The easiest was to create jobs would be for corporate America to start building in this country rather than China. That isn't happening, and it won't happen. Why? Taxes too high? LOL! Not even close.
They go to China for three reasons:
    A. Slave wages
    B. Slave labor working conditions
    C. No real environmental laws to deal with
Taxes aren't relevant to corporate America. They don't pay any.
What we have is the good ship America being shot full of holes by corporate America. The working class is bailing water as fast as they can. The solution being touted by the fascists that populate the board rooms is, we need to throw some people overboard so we don't sink so fast. Never mind we're still shooting holes in the boat. Simple common sense would be to STOP SHOOTING HOLES in the god damn boat.
How's about these pricks start investing in America. You know, the place where they made their money in the first place. These phony patriots won't be doing that anytime soon. All the investment is going overseas, and the Chinese are smart. They tell CAT and the like, you want to sell here, you got to build here. Well no shit, damn good idea. We need to be doing the same thing here.
There has never been a more pristine example of blaming the victim as the working class gets told they make too much, have too many benefits, all the while the corporate thugs proceed with the wholesale destruction of our country.

BTW: I with ya' on the deportation of illegals.

The Chinese told the tire compaines "you want to mfg tires here, you can't sell them here".

  3. Bullshit. High corporate taxes are part of what's driving jobs overseas.

  4. You're full of shit. Corporate taxes have zero influence on their decision to move operations overseas. It's about wages, labor and environmental law, period! That, and the Chinese are smart enough to make them build there if they want to sell there.
Please, quit being an apologist for the corporate thugs. You look as silly as the radical left apologists do when they try to tie Palin to the Tucson killings.

  5. Of course you'd think taxes are not a factor because you're so full of shit you think corporations don't pay any taxes.

Government is the problem, not capitalism. Whining about "corporate thugs" just makes you sound like a socialist loser.

  6. I agree, capitalism is not the problem. The problem is that we no longer practice capitalism. I don't know exactly what to call privatized profits and socialized losses, but that's what we have, and that ain't capitalism. I also agree that government is the problem when they not only allow, but facilitate such action as stated above.

  7. That's getting so old. Most of the LOANS to the "evil banksters" have been paid back with interest. Not to mention that the bubble wouldn't have been possible without the eager participation of the sheeple who bought more house than they could afford, used their houses as ATMs and maxed out their credit cards to buy shit they didn't need with money they didn't have. Of course the evil banksters should have protected the borrowers from themselves because nobody's responsible for their actions any more.

  8. When do I get the deal they got? Let's see, I blow all my money at the craps table, and then go to the bank for a loan. Then I take that money and loan it to others for a fee, pay back the loan, minus the fee, of course. Sweet! Where's my MBA?

  9. You are not wrong, but there are other factors at play other than corporate villany. While there are plenty of people suffering because of our trade policies, there are more that are benefitting through low prices. Most consumer goods, other than cars, cost less than they did 30 years ago. Cars are expensive largely because of government mandates.

There is a far bigger factor at play that is not discussed. Henry Kissinger decided 40 years ago that the best way to deal with the Chinese was to coopt them into our economic system. Global and in particular US ruling elites have quietly maintained that policy throughout democrat and republican administrations. The alternative was thought to be a China that would resemble North Korea, only on a mammouth scale.

  10. That's the "justification" millions of deadbeats are using to walk away from their debt. What we really need is debtors' prisons.
