Americans for Prosperity was interviewing Obama supporters outside his Virginia rally on Friday night.
They said, “Socialism was cool.”

President Obama visited Charlottesville on Friday October 29, 2010 to campaign for liberal Congressman Tom Perriello. We decided to hand out our free “Socialism isn’t Cool” bumper stickers to the crowd. What we found about Perriello and Obama supporters was shocking.

 

For all those who believe "socialism is cool"... Why don't they just emigrate to Venezuela or Cuba where all can be happy? Why should America be ruined so these government tit-suckers can be happy?

If America would have had socialism for the last 100 years, all of these folks would be living on minimum wage, standing in line for their ration of toilet paper and potatoes, and living in a one-room flat with a dirt floor.... BUT AT LEAST EVERYBODY WOULD BE EQUAL, RIGHT?... equally miserable.

 

Honestly man, I see shit like that and I can't find my passport fast enough. But where the hell can we go?

 

WE aren't going anywhere.

WE can certainly help THEM find their passports and ACORN registrations though.

 

Actually they should all go to Canada. Half of those believers are already there.

 

Canada is more conservative then we are! Honestly I'm looking into moving up there.

 

Agreed, socialism is terrible in all circumstances. So, I'd like you to start working weekends without pay, thank you. That's for starters, I have some other ideas, too.

 

As an entrepreneur, I've spent more hours working without pay than many have worked for pay in the last 10 years. Oh, and that includes weekends, nights, vacations, sick days and breaks, all of which aren't a company paid perk simply for showing up.

 

Good for you! I've heard of guys who have it much worse, so I guess you have more to do.

 

Obama greets himself. It's rumored that Obama was overheard telling the kid:

"It's not that I want to punish your success," Obama told him. "I want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for <del>success</del>, candy too. My attitude is that if the <del>economy's</del> candy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the <del>wealth</del> candy around, it's good for everybody."
