Think your mixing up socialism and communism here.

For socialism look at Scandinavian. We are suffering with high GDP, 'free' education, health care etc, max working hours, min vacation (not sure if it is 4 or 5 weeks but I get 6 weeks plus national days), 18 months per kid paid leave etc :)

Of course we also dont have the freedom to go buy automatic rifles and shoot up the local schools either.

Oh how we dream of US capitalism ;o)

I don't need to watch a video since I have lived in UK, Sweden and months at a time in US.

Wow! A socialist who ignores arguments against his opinions just because he doesn't want to consider the fact that he might be wrong...:wtf:

    Shocker!:D:banghead:

  7. Trolling? Not in the politics forum here.

Consumption taxes are high, I am part Danish I hate the price of beer there however.. it is fine. Live is nice and yes, you work to get somewhere but people are reliable and that makes a huge difference.

Ireland is high on consumption taxes also for some things. America is full of really fat people of course.. that is striking when you go there. Maybe the poor need some soda taxes.

Didn't you read what I wrote. I have lived in those countries. I know the arguments and I lived in those places so actually experienced them. I don't need random blokes you picked to support your point of view telling me what it is like to live there.

If you are very rich the US is better but for average factory worker or professional it certainly isnt.
