Yes, let's root for the elites over the little guy. It's tough at the top so cut them some slack!

Let's support a system that allows large firms to short more than 100% of the total shares in issue of a company. So they complain about 'market integrity' but then where's the integrity in allowing greater than 100%?

I don't have enough hindsight to know if this is revolutionary or simply recycled rebellion using new tools. However, from my perspective it's a well needed and deserved kick in the butt and wallets of those who think of themselves as untouchable puppeteers.

Exactly Vic, this is what makes it so interesting, the using of 'new tools' to fight.

if we extrapolate this to conventional warfare, is that now pretty much dead? Why bomb and use traditional weapons when you can use new forms of technology to achieve your goals?

Not saying that guns are going away but technology is starting to shake up the world in all sorts of different ways, many of which we don't yet understand yet and can't comprehend.

  4. I took a look and went through some posts there. Some posts have depth and the posters are clearly experienced mates that have been in the field. Kinda opposite to this forum, the posts there have depth and substance that are intentionally made profane and seemingly absurd, while here shallow contents glossed with professional terms.

Bingo...the media and censorship are tools of the elite class. It had absolutely Nothing to do with hate speech other than the fact that the bitter bear suits hated it haha.

Very true. Not sure the overall %, but there are definitely legit and serious analyses there, couched in sophomoric terms.

Which as you say is the opposite of here where we see a lot of "elite" language from people who clearly have very little actual knowledge or experience.

  8. Some posts over there are profane and fun but are very well-written and have depth as if written by some hedge fund managers hiding behind some fuck-my-arsehole Reddit name. Some posters there clearly know about things like volatility curve/surface etc but posts are written in layman terms, wheras here some idiots who don't know put-call parity would talk like they are bigshots

Now they have a taste of censorship, they’ll pivot to tiktok/twitter/telegram.

As they discover BTC is to CB as GME is to hedgefunds, we have yet to see what the swarm can do.

    DeFi > TradFi

Decentralization of power and diversification of equity is what’s up and there is no stopping it.

Hate speech showed up in their discord when mods were asleep. The subreddit has no such thing.
