So who will win the IMF race?

  1. It's down to that French Woman, this Mexican guy and the head of the Israel central bank I take it?

I'm guessing the French will win it. It's a woman which is a plus and the European American support will prove to be enough to get the job.

The Israeli guy will suffer from his background, Israel remains rather controversial in some parts the world and I take it neutrality is a big thing for the IMF.

The Mexican guy with all due respect and I understand this might sound stupid but he is really very overweight and to be the leader of an organisation which imposes hard austerity and discipline everywhere it lands I'm guessing his weight might not really be compatible with such policy.

I'm not saying that is why he shouldnt get the job to be clear, I'm just not to certain if the IMF wants to expose themselves to such easy criticism.
