So, what is the end game with this never-ending U.S. public debt?

As I said the criteria are arbitrary. "Treat and Street" -- which is the M.D.'s term for what you decribe -- may be great to you and not great to someone else.

  2. Leftists hate America. You can feel their seething hatred in this very thread.

Peace thru strength, that is the real goal.

Don't get brain washed by the lefty media.

    - All Trumps actions have been the most logical, haven't they? NK is coming to the table. Iran will... and where is the Nobel Peace Prize? Nobel has lost complete credibility by giving it to the do-nothing Obama.

    - Selling out America to appease others is not ally building. TPP, Paris, Iran, NK.. all are terrible deals for America and Trump had to/is fixing all of that.... The Art of the Deal... look what he's just done with the China trade.

Look at what's happening, but don't watch TV:)

There are the brain-washing leftists - who know deep down that the policies they push are bad for America, but they do it anyway for the power grab. Basically the entire democratic party upper echelons have gone rogue, they are not doing anything for America, or their supporters.

Then there are the brain-washed leftists - almost the entire black/hispanic community for example.... they just think that they should vote democrat... too blind to see that the party has done NOTHING for them for decades, other than keeping them in poverty and on the welfare roll.. - staying on the plantation, with a victimized mindset, so they can keep voting democratic... some in these communities are waking up to see the truth though.. a step in the right direction.

Lefties hate America only when they cannot blood-suck as they wish. If they are in power, they love America as this is the most resourceful land on earth.

If they hated America no matter what, they can simply move to Venezuela where all their heavenly lefty policies are already implemented.

The disadvantage of having oceans both sides is that the US is living in its own rhetorical isolation. Somehow the Vietnam War, the Middle East disasters etc. are turned into victories and not seen as defeats . Unrealities lead to bad decisions based on lies.
Wake up guys the US is slipping down to Number2 in the world of commerce. The US has had its chances to be supreme and blown it. Lousy policies from rotten politicians.
Lets see what China has to offer. Can Trump get it back through spoiling tactics ?
To be great one needs to realise ones frailities.
Your old allies look on aghast at Trump's antics.

What do oceans have to do with rhetorical isolation :) perhaps in the days of horse buggies... 2 oceans is a great advantage, in terms of commerce, and national security.

What #2? America is #1 by a mile.... are you referring to PPP? yes US is #2 now, but PPP in my view is bogus... go visit China and you will find that all good quality stuff are way more expensive than in the US - good urban housing, education, cars, gas, clothing, what not.

Yes the 16 years under W and Obama were lousy.. but things are turning around.

The US didn't suffer much homeland damage in the 2 World Wars but now it is different with missiles and H bombs. Now everybody is in the front line.
Politicians are isolated and in Trump's case just say what pops up in their brains. He has shown his contempt for near neighbours Canada and Mexico and thinks he can carry off the same stunt elsewhere.
Well no one and no country can survive on their own, so compromises need to be made.

conflicts have different degrees, not necessarily nothing or H bombs.

compromises, yes.. the question is how much and where... when you had village idiot W and community organizer Barry making deals, that's when we get bad deals.

we are lucky to have a seasoned businessman doing deals for us now.

The end game is simple: the US public debt is/will effectively become the world public debt.
