So? I was making a ton more money a few years ago too. The last thing I need right now is my profit going to the freakn worthless SEC.
SEC has been doing this for as long as I remember, this is a standard operation. Every year or so they enact a rule to screw the daytrader/scalper. And then they raise fees. On occasion they lower the fees by a minute amount and make a huge fuss about it. It's very clear that one of their agendas is to attack the independent trader.
I haven't seen anything from the discount brokers saying they are raising their fees. How are they not being affected?
