-----Venus has a rep for being a toxic hellscape, but three billion years ago, it may have been the best piece of real estate our solar system had to offer—or at least, a close second to Earth----

Yet The Earth remains inhabitable now even with Trump on it? What a fool.

I feel bad for giving that a like because that may mean many people are going to be starving. But Kudos for the useful to science photos.

I understand completely. These folks on the left don't know how good the world has had it during natural warming.

You can see from the Magellan images, early Trumpers were building golf courses on Venus.

Did the Venutians then start using aerosol and carbon fuels and destroy themselves?

We know the earth's systems have powerful negative feedback systems.
I think the only real arguments nutters have its that we don't know if Man's actions will overwhelm those systems. Of course we may never know or we may never overwhelm them. (with respect to climate)

It seems pretty clear we may overwhelm our fresh water systems and our oceans fisheries.
Rather than carbon controls we should probably be setting up better fishery protections and ocean clean up protocols.
