I recall the queers just before AIDS hit. They had a chant: "we're here, we're queer, we're going to take over your world". They were taking over too, they seemed to all be qualified for management positions because they hung out at the gay bars. Then AIDS hit and they took over the Hospices instead.
Sheeet man, call them a queer and they go nuts, as they well should. There are homosexuals and then there are the radical leftist queers who muck it up for the average homosexual. The gay people I know don't really care for the activist element. Not to say they aren't outspoken about things, but they aren't all in your face about the issue.
