meaning, the one started in 2000 never actually ended?

even though new highs were made in a few indexes, in terms of what you could buy with it, 2000 is still the top

in previous bull markets, you really made money, even after inflation

in this one, on the indexes, after inflation, you didnt

 

That's the way I read it. Moreover, I was expecting it.

 

gotta hand it to the fed though, they sure did their best to disguise it
