I found a fix in case anyone else is having this problem with FireFox on ET. Under the menu item "Tools" select "Auto Select" for Character Encoding. I still don't know why NONE of the other character encodings work on my machine, but "Auto Select" fixes it. Strange.
are there any websites that firefox cannot view? i remember many years ago when netscape couldn't view some sites that IE could.
I'm a big Firefox fan, been using it for maybe 3 years and I've switched a lot of people over to it. Lately, however, maybe around the time of the second last update, I've been having problems working with a few pages that IE seems to handle allright. I usually wait a few months to install updates. I'm sure this is a configuration problem but I can't quite figure out what it is. I've had to use IE once in a while and it still sucks compared to FF, just not even close to being as well designed.
