if you are real, put half in really conservative investments first, then play. Oh hell, 50 k is all you need. Problem is...the learning curve is a bit ugly.
why switch to a 'real' job? take up PLO. or PLO8. trade some of the time, and take up a sport. donate time to a charitable organization. host parties for lots of your friends, parties that don't cost you a lot but seem great to them. there you go. no charge required.
^^^^ when you are at home all the time working and not much of a social life .. You don't think rationally! You become unmotivated and things that interested you .. well .. they no longer do! I totally understand what his going through!
