You are playing games. I would not expect the U.S. Supreme Court to say the States don't have to follow U.S. Supreme Court Rulings if they are wrong. would you.

But the Supreme Court gave itself the power of Judicial Review out of thin air.

State Supremacy in non enumerated powers is written into the constitutions itself.

    so --

Either the Fed backs down as it is currently on the Medical Marijuana issue.

    The state backs down...

or we have a civil war.

The states don't have to care what the Sup Court says if they determine nullification is appropriate.

  2. Many of the unconstitutional racial and segregation state laws weren't challenged for years jem.Kansas state law establishing segregated schools in the 1870's wasn't challenged until the 1950's.When The SC ruled it unconstitutional the Kansas state law was abolished just like every state law ruled unconstitutional by The SC

  3. Yet every time The SC has ruled a state law unconstitutional it is the state law is nullified.Name one time when a state law has stayed in place after being ruled unconstitutional by The SC ?

  6. For the record SC has already conceded they will back down if The SC overrules them

we have the 14th amendment and the 13th amendment, its very hard to impossible to argue segregation laws are actually constitutional and therefore valid grounds to say say the sup ct overreached and is therefore subject to nullification.

forcing someone to pay money to a third party is a violation of the constitution in many ways... including a violation of the 13th amendment in my opinion..

Getting around the constitution by calling it a tax is disgraceful.

That is one ruling ripe for nullification.

now will the states to choose to make a stand on this.
    that is up to them.

  8. Only if The Supreme Court says its unconstitutional .The Supreme court makes that decision, not the State. The Supreme Court has already made it clear that nullification is unconstitutional

  9. As I previously stated jem,SC has already conceded that the courts will decide

    you are an Obama loon.

it is against Federal law to grow, distribute and sell pot or even possess it. ....

Yet there are medical marijuana shops on street corners and ads for them in the San Diego Reader

There are whole towns growing pot in nor cal.

The Feds have almost completely 100% backed down in the face of nullification by the people.
