More states may jump on this bandwagon making ObamaCare un-workable.
    ----

South Carolina this week could become the first state in the country to restrict the enactment of Obamacare since the U.S. Supreme Court upheld that law last year.

A proposed bill, on special order in the state Senate, would allow the state attorney general to take businesses, including health insurers, to court if he “has reasonable cause to believe” they are harming people by implementing the law. The bill already has passed the House.

If it passes, the bill could push South Carolina to the forefront of Obamacare resistance, giving the state’s Republican leaders a national stage. It also could push South Carolina into yet another costly legal battle in the federal courts that, critics say, is unnecessary and avoidable.

“It is going to get us in court, as we all know. But ... it is worth the risk to see if we can protect our state from this far-reaching federal legislation,” state Sen. Kevin Bryant, R-Anderson, one of the lawmakers pushing for the Senate to pass the bill this week before it adjourns for the year.

Love South Carolina! Other States will soon follow. I'm surprised Texas hasn't, but they can't do what they need to do yet imo, until the Keystone finally gets started, if ever. All Ocommunist has to do is dangle Keystone over their heads, and that buys his tyrant ass time.

Btw, you think SC has the $ to do battle with out of control US gubment? I hope so!

The Tenth Amendment states the Constitution's principle of federalism by providing that powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution, nor prohibited to the States, are reserved to the States or the people.

Your lefties are familiar with medicinal marijuana laws are you not.

Well police power and health and safety are state powers.

If a state wants to nullify on those grounds who is going to stop them.

  7. Congress and The President are granted the power to pass laws under the constitution.Obamacare is a law passed by congress and signed by the president

SCOTUS is supposed to rule later this month on some of the mandates like the birth control later this month. I'm not sure if there is an ObmaCare killer being heard right now.
