Certainly. With no commission involved at 50% win rate you will win handsomely. By the way, the win rate could be less in this sitchy. As I recall, gambling houses don't give 3 to 1 on red or black on roulette (they are less than 50% due to 0 and 00). However, if they would give 3 to 1 on red or black, you would win handsomely there as well.--Most people think that when one speaks of money management, they are just talking about the initial stop, but it's much much more than that. It is the full management of the trade. Most folks are unable to manage their trades. Most folks lose.

Tremendous risk reward. Unfortunately next to zero win rate. Let's not be obtuse.

As I've said, repeatedly, there is no such thing as a "real-time call" on a message board. I learned how this was faked almost twenty years ago. Anyone who posts such calls isn't trading. It simply isn't possible, with or without "timestamps". When BS, for example, posts these calls, the RT calls become big losers, though after I caught him lying about his trades, I haven't kept track. What's the point? The winners are always taken in the middle of the night.

Then there are the faked "blotters", which anyone of any intelligence can provide even with the most basic photoshop program. More than a few have been posted to ET.

All that matters are those trades which are posted in advance. These are the only trades which anyone who follows them can take advantage of, if they care to (ms posts his in advance but he hasn't been on anything that one might call a winning streak). And if those who provide these calls also provide a trading plan, the calls might actually be of some use (ms can't because he doesn't have one, or at least one that he can explain).

Real-time calls are of no value whatsoever to anyone other than to those who are waiting around to be told what to do. These may find value in the proper kind of trading room. But message boards? Please.

  6. These are just excuses, old bean.
I witness lots of realtime calls on these boards. Some in the journals. SOme in the ES thread.
If someone is trying to cheat by editing their posts or by calling the trade when it's already in their favour by a few points etc, then it's obvious.
Id' know about it and I'd call them out on it!
Not to mention that some of them (in the journals section in particular) seem to consistently lose which would imply they're not 'cheating'.
And some post screenshots of their pending orders from their platforms etc.
On trade2win, when a post is edited, it shows.
And with so many eyes wathcing the calls, it would be obvious if people were cheating.
So, I think you're just making excuses to avoid having to call a trade due to feeling safer analysing old charts.

Having said that, I tihnk a 'foresight calls' thread is a good idea.
However, they can't be like what you seem to think is a 'call'.
You'd need to state exactly where you limit order is sitting so that people know when and where you are in the market.

You haven't been around long enough to know.

If you don't know how to trade either an upside or downside breakout but prefer to be told what to do, it's unlikely that you'd actually do it.

Stop looking for people to follow. I can assure you that successful traders don't waste their time on that effort.
