Snow because of global warming!

  1. "Arguing that something is a part of" =/= "causes"

  2. You have already stated that CO2 lags temperature change. If your post here is correct, where is the temperature change (you have already written that it is not happening.)?

Because you don't understand it? Do you understand that a CO2 molecule is extra-efficient at absorbing infra-red energy?

  3. ok, so global warming is not responsible for any extreme weather of any kind?

  4. Actually the incorrect statement was that extreme weather "causes" global warming -- exactly the reverse.

    Yes.

I have posted a video showing that temperature levels have been changing. Recent changes are not an anomaly.

It is sad that thousands of people were deceived by your climate guru's movie ''Inconvenient truth''.

  6. So your answer is yes, global warming causes extreme weather?

And I suspect your views carry more weight...

  8. That's a different conversation, and it's impossible to tie individual weather events to global warming (at this time).

However, it's likely that this is true, at least for some areas of the planet, but not relevant to the conversation at hand as it is not provable.

  9. His views have to carry more weight in the scientific community, as his views have not yet been publicly discredited as Lord Moncton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, has been discredited.

  10. So when you said that temperature lags CO2, you meant that it was because temperature changed at some point in the past, but is not changing now, therefore CO2 levels are increasing.

Do I have your position correct?

I still have not seen the movie. I suggest you find more reliable sources of information than Youtube and movies.
