Markets are extremely easy to trade using simple information like charts. Charts show the way to keep losses small and let winners run. -No matter what the time frame. Volume is an extra useless tool that will hamper one's ability to see what is really happening.
There is but one correct method of trading for the retail trader. 1. Keep losses small. (Never risk more than 2% of Total Liquid Net Worth on any one trade/idea.) 2. Let winners run using stops outside the noise. 3. Keep commissions small 4. Don't scale in or scale out. 5.Trade with the trend.
Buy1Sell2: are you really posting "Trade with the trend", on a thread created by a top/bottom picker trader?
I love the fact how open-minded you are I wish you good luck and please let me know how is your method working for you
Extremely closed minded when it comes to trading. I have learned what is right over the years. Less is more.
Yeah it's really easy if you keep it simple, but as you ignored my earlier post I shall state it again.......... It's Easy, if you haven't to go worry about SL's being hit, therefore timing the markets. Letting the runners run, also easy, if you ignore the 1's that turn on you cause you let them run too long and they become losers. Trading is difficult, that's why so few crack it. Leave him alone, advise when your profitable not until and no I don't believe you LOL * sorry Sniper, he/she annoys me for some reason!
Turveyd: No need to persuade anybody of anything. If B1S2 is happy with his approach and he is making money constantly then everything is just fine. As I wrote earlier - there are many approaches to trading. Everybody can choose whatever suits him/her. Peace
Solved the SLOW useless market conditions, had to accept I've got to trade Gold and Oil and Forex and YM and Dax and just pick the best 1. YM had a good day yesterday, forex totally dead as. 2+ weeks wasted for FX to wake up!
Hmmmm. See this is advantage of your approach. I can´t switch the markets so easily becasue the tape is very different on each of those. I am not sure if there is a tape on FX for example. Can someone answer? Can you see orderflow/tape on FX? I guess not bc. the FX is not centralized but maybe I am wrong.
No DOM on FX, there should be on Gold and Oil, something to look into see if your method could work with those, mine is fine thankfully. Opens up options, rather than twiddling your fingers all day. FX is weak anyway, wouldn't bother with to be honest, good day today but won't last long.
