1. People are gullible 2. Their minds get altered when 'easy money' for 'little work' is on offer 3. These scammers are all selling the dream, and they're skillful at it, ie telling you want you want to hear and offering you a way to get it (of course it won't work) 4. Again, people are gullible so they won't bother to research who they're doing business with or what they're really buying 5. People are greedy 6. People are too trustfull and in this day and age that's lethal. The question I always ask is this - who's at fault here, the lying vendor or the gullible buyer? I used to think it was the snakeoil saleman but he nver puts a gun to anyone's head does he? The buyers therefore get what they deserve, harsh but true. I bet the majority of this board have bought crap in the past, maybe it was only a $30 book but most of us have fallen for it in the past, usually our younger days. But like a trade that went wrong and taught us a lesson it was a good thing to get ripped off but only if we learned that important lesson, ie steer clear of snakeoil salesmen telling us how to get rich easy and quick.
Cant forget this guy, <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HG7hMYI6nAA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> So sleezy he doesnt even let people hear his real voice.
How do you guys place the youtube icon on ET instead of the link ? There are a lot of Snakeoil Vendors because there are many many many people who support their business. Is there anything wrong if someone pays you to give financial advice ?
Get the video up on Youtube and then look for the Embed button below, click that and it will give yout he link, then just copy/paste that into your post and bingo.
Just look at the snake oiler at the top of this page. What is that??? The dude is yelling at you, while sizing you up cross-eyed, and trying to scare you with some kinda gang finger symbol. Geeeez!!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the first few seconds I was wondering "did he post some porn site as a joke, or are these girls selling panties, or gym equipment?" Boggles my mind the people who fall for this mess! I lost a bet when I was at Merrill Lynch (bastardos! Lol!), and had to attend a seminar by a "company" called "Better Trades" with three guys I worked with. We came in with the dumbass ties off, and acted like part of the crowd. I asked some questions that were funny, but didn't want to stand out either. I laugh, but back then we were listening as we all were still searching (silently) for a 'potential' holy grail we could potentially tweak. Lol! Rookies! Lol! Didn't happen. We walked back to the office blown away by the people (many retirees:eek: ), who stroked a check for $5k+ for the "s/w," and "training." I truly felt like taking a bath after that. What I witnessed was 100:1 "dirtier" than what I observed "go down" at mother merrill on a daily basis, and mother merrill was a player partly responsible for the Oct 2007-2009 crash... So glad I left that mess behind! Now I can bathe 1x/week. Lol!
Disclaimer: I've still not found the holy grail. If one of you has it, pm me, and we will make a large amount of money.
