I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good service for receiving sms messages to my mobile phone for breaking news on the stocks that i choose. Yahoo mobile seems like they offer exactly what I'm looking for, but I literally cannot get past the last step to verify my phone. I get an error that says to enter a 10 digit phone number when I've entered it correctly. I'm pretty sure they are giving me the wrong error message, but nonetheless I've tried for over a week now and it hasn't been fixed. Thanks
I can send the headline of the the news from finance.yahoo.com to your mobile phone with my own program. I use my program to alert me with break out stock symbol and news headline. You can PM me or reply under this thread if you want.
