Separate from what Jussie should receive as punishment if found guilty we are seeing the usual double standards. Roseanne was terminated very quickly for a silly tweet which was far less harmful than this act by Jussie. He remains employed. Multiple celebrities were quick to jump on the bandwagon with support for Jussie and had nothing but their own hate and bias to spew. Crickets now chirping with new developments. Multiple networks and news outlets now attempting to spin the story into some broader conversation we must have about race. And then there's the politicians. Not an honorable person among them to just step up and own their bullshit.

Rosanne committed a stupid act. It's not crime to say stupid things, thankfully. There are however consequences and the network was within their rights to fire her. Probably a mistake on their part as the show was an abject failure after her departure, but they get an A+ for virtue signaling.
