  1. Nine-ender is/was just a novice with a bad attitude and a chip on his shoulder from getting bear raped during the last meltdown.

  3. smart money is some bullshit expression that novices start using after reading some worthless books about trading/investing.

Nine-ender has already been discredited numerous times, no need to re-hash the mouthbreather's sordid history.

Dumbass, my call was on going long Canadian banks into earnings. I made a lot of money on that trade, touting the trade ahead of time in the Neke journal on this site.

US banks I have never liked. In fact, I sharply criticized some posters on this site that thought Citigroup was going to go up significantly.

Shortie, I clearly told you that the VIX/VXX trade was a risky speculation. Did you also not note that nowhere in the last few weeks with all the bullish posts from you and others on the SPY did I ever recommend going long this summer ?

I've been flat all summer, its a terrible time to be trading usually.
In fact, I even told my wife prior to the summer to sell her TSX Index mutual fund at 14,000.

Note what I posted to you recently :

Look up "Seasonality", and figure it out for yourself. The S&P 500 was 1041 in September on the "buy signal". You had a ton of chances to sell between 1240 and 1370. Even if you held into the dangerous news and summer chop, you'd be down only marginally. But why would you hold ?

Great. Nice hindsight call. Nothing about seasonality or when to sell in your original post. Stocks were supposed to go up all year and the bears couldn't do anything about it. Remember?

Just admit it's a silly thread and your analysis for the stock market and economy has been way off for the year. Or go join stcktrdr3 (or whatever his user name was) in the land of departed permabulls.

As for seasonality, I know the data well. Tell me how many really bullish years have been down 4-5% in August? Maybe 1998 and a couple of others, but not many.
