so you do have a kid... well $100/week level does exist but is typical for non academy teams and the players are not represented by an agent, therefore less negotiation know-how... and outside of the US the levels are lower. some of the more prestigious teams pay up to $3500... fairly close to the OWL minimum. my son does have an agent who does the negotiation for him. in any case for a 14-yo this matters little because he's still supported by us parents.... for the players over 19 trying to make a living on their own then the amount does matter, you are gonna lose good talent to other teams if you can only pay $100/week; the math is simple because if you can keep a player on the roster and some OWL team picks him up, the transfer fee is comparable to Major League Soccer. ... and of course these guys all have the ultimate goal to make it into the OWL.
My 2 cents: 1)Do not buy courses (especially DO NOT buy courses from Jeff Bishop lol), buy books instead. Natenberg, Sinclair, Baird, Cottle, Hull, McMillan these are the names that you will constantly see popping up in these forums, and for a good reason. 2)Do not believe anybody telling that you can simply sell naked options for income. This is a strategy that works 99% of the time, however when it does not work the losses are so big that they take away all the profit from the previous 99%. It's not a bad strategy per se, but should be used only in certain market conditions. 3)you will truly learn only by losing $, so you will feel better if you consider the whole amount as the tuition fee. 4)for the first year, I would say that your target should not be making money, but simply preserving capital. 5)Search these forums for inspiration. 80% is BS but there are also some gems to be found.
I have four kids, dude. Switch to a new brand of meth. It mattered enough for you to manufacture this make believe BS. So where is you kid on the list?
You claim to be a big time trader? And you are digging deep on a few hundred bucks? The benefit of the doubt is fading fast. Now I am more inclined to think that you can’t trade at all.
Yeah, Bro. I can't trade because I caught you in a pathetic lie. Your kid must be very proud. Following in daddy's footsteps? We're still waiting on your blotter... just one, please.
No. Already told you your $600k is a rounding error of what I have pulled from the market. You are either trolling or lack basic math. OWL average pay is $100k. How do you keep talent with $100/week. And you are so certain because your kid ‘knows a few contenders’.
What is the significance of $600K? My largest week in 2019 was >4x that figure: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/dests-everything-journal.332136/page-13#post-4861667 You may as well just tell us you pull in half a unit a year.... because you provide exactly, BS. You stated Contender's League. They make shit. I am sure your kid's agent (sic) is thrilled AF with their $3,600 in fees! https://www.esportsearnings.com/leagues/467-overwatch-contenders
Based on the lack of intelligence you have demonstrated, I am certain your results are fake. And you are probably living in your parents basement.
