I contacted IB last year when I was traveling in Europe to strongly suggest that they offer an alternative browser-based trade station. I was also having problems with TWS, and my main complaint was that when on the road it was very difficult to operate TWS from a public computer, such as an internet cafe. As you would expect, they were cold to the idea. But it would be a big benefit to provide more than one way to access an IB trading platform. I for one would put more money with them if that were the case, but I need to maintain other browser based accounts just to trade when TWS is not available.
